Lyft came to us with a challenge: While thousands of people were signing up to drive, many never took their first ride. To bridge that gap, our idea showed what that first week actually feels like.
No script. No setup. Just a camera, a crew, and Shanice’s first week on the road.
To support Lyft’s efforts to recruit and retain drivers, we followed Shanice as she navigated her first pickups, her first challenges, and her first moments behind the wheel.
Shot documentary-style, this film offers an unfiltered look at what it’s really like to start driving with Lyft—capturing the nerves, the hustle, and the small wins that make it worth it.
