Directed by Platon and Scott Dadich, this short film is a tribute to the many ways freedom shapes our lives—how we dream, how we hope, and how we strive to live as Americans.
Too often, political discourse reduces “freedom” and “family” to narrow definitions. But freedom isn’t just a talking point, and family isn’t just one thing. They are complex, expansive, and deeply personal truths that belong to everyone, no matter who we are or where we come from.
The film was produced in record time for Night 3 of the 2024 Democratic National Convention, themed A Fight for Our Freedoms. It set the stage for Kamala Harris’s nomination the following night.
